Q. Who designs and builds my store?
A. Sonny Bryan’s Smokehouse Franchise System will provide the franchisee with architectural prototype and protostyle plans and specifications reflecting requirements for dimensions, exterior design, interior design and layout, image, building materials, fixtures, equipment, furniture, signs and décor, and will assist in negotiations with construction contractor and other construction suppliers.

A. Yes. Sonny Bryan’s Smokehouse is actively seeking qualified candidates to develop multiple locations.

Q. What type of Marketing assistance is available?
A. Our current marketing program for Sonny Bryan’s Smokehouse Restaurants consists of print advertising, internet presence, monthly newsletters and email campaigns which is currently conducted on a local basis and is developed in-house. You may use your own advertising with our prior approval.

Q. How is the site selected for my store?
A. You are responsible for finding a location and submitting it to us for approval.

Q. Is there any experience necessary to own a Sonny Bryan’s Smokehouse?
A. Yes, but not necessarily in foodservice. Sonny Bryan’s Smokehouse actively searches for candidates with a strong background in business management.

Q. Do I need to be involved in the day-to-day operation of my franchise?
A. At least one owner or a designated manager must be involved on a full-time basis and must be responsible for the day-to-day operations and management.

Q. How will I know if I have the necessary finances?
A. Your completed personal profile will be evaluated by our finance department. A Sonny Bryan’s Smokehouse senior manager will let you know how your financial status fits within our profile and what your financing options might be, if needed.
