(AP) Has hell frozen over? That’s the question that’s on the minds of people who see the open sign on Sundays at the Original Sonny Bryan’s on Inwood. Don’t worry. If you’re not kitchen or grill inclined, we’ve got nine locations (many open on summer holidays like the Fourth of July and Labor Day) ready and waiting to serve you or help you put together the perfect menu for your party. You can even throw our melt-in-your-mouth BBQ on a plate and act like it’s homemade…we won’t tell.

Today we celebrated a major milestone as a company; we rallied together to prepare our largest catering order to date: food for 9,000 people! In honor of Hospital Week, Parkland Hospital charged us with catering food for their brood of hungry employees in recognition of all of their hard work this year and we were happy to take on the challenge. The result was 6,080 pounds of our famous brisket and 9,000 full Parkland employees.
Congrats to our Facebook Fan, Matthew T. Jones, for coming closest to guessing the amount of brisket it took to feed their group. We hope you enjoy your pound of brisket!
